Meet the Creator: I'm a Houston native and the creator of Scents 1822 and Learning with Brii. I am dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and empowering individuals to find their TRUE worth through the Gospel of Jesus Christ through affirmation. In a generation where social media has a huge influence, I believe that it is important to understand that your worth is found in Jesus alone. I'm a wife, mom, and former classroom teacher but forever an educator.
Scents 1822: Our products are hand poured in small batches and crafted with love. I was blessed to become a mother in 2018 after having my son Clay and blessed again in 2022 after having my daughter Cairo. 1822 represents the two years that God saw fit to bless my husband and I with our children and we are extremely grateful. They are truly the motivation behind the name!
Our Mission: Scents 1822 is a black owned business created on the foundation of Christ and my love for a "good smelling candle". We believe in the importance of speaking LIFE and burning safe and sustainable candles in our home. We use natural soy wax for all of our products along with phthalate free fragrances to ensure your experience is not only enjoyable for you, but your family as well. Whether journaling, having quiet time with the Lord, or spending a night in, our candles are the perfect addition. Therefore, creating encouraging and safe candles is our goal.
Learning with Brii: This brand stemmed from my passion as an educator and creating resources that not only help parents with tailored learning activities but also help children love and enjoy their learning experiences. As a homeschool mom, I saw the importance of hands-on activities that were not only engaging but meaningful as well for my child. Through Learning with Brii, I'm dedicated to creating learning resources that parents and children will both love.
